Aviation Data
HAAST is built on the following aeronautical data sources:
- Aeronautical data sourced from the AIPNZ with permission. Airspace, aerodrome, visual reporting point and navigation-aid data are drawn from the AIP New Zealand / New Zealand Air Navigation Register and refreshed every AIRAC cycle. © Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
- NOTAM data sourced with permission from Airways New Zealand.
- Obstacle and hazard data sourced from the New Zealand Defence Force and operator-supplied sources, together with obstacles and hazards reported by HAAST users. This data is not official and is subject to inaccuracies. Use it for situational awareness, and consult official sources before any operation.
- Transmission lines and structures from Transpower Open Data, licensed CC BY 4.0.
- Terrain and topographic data from Land Information New Zealand (LINZ), licensed CC BY 4.0.
HAAST supports situational awareness and deconfliction. It does not replace official pre-flight briefing sources.
